In the opening verses of the Gospel Of John, the writer captures the essence..the heart and soul, of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The eternal Word…
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5
The Word becomes flesh…
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Jesus Christ, God and Man…
Trinity and Incarnation belong together. The doctrine of the Trinity declares that Christ is truly divine; the doctrine of the Incarnation declares that the same Christ is fully human. Together they proclaim the full reality of the Savior revealed in the New Testament, the Son who came from the Father’s side, at the Father’s will, to become the sinner’s substitute on the cross. (exerpted from the New Geneva Study Bible)
So who is YOUR Jesus Christ? Is He the Jesus Christ of Scriptures, or is He a product of your own imagination?

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I strive every day to be transformed in His likeness and not allow myself to put Him into a box.
